Problem. This project was about Image & Workflow, where users were processing dental claims and pay doctors. The end users were having significant performance issues affecting data processing center’s overall performance. Tools they were using PowerBuilder and Sybase and wanted to convert to Visual Basic and Oracle
Solution. Introduced Visual Basic and Oracle and setup their development shop with full System Development Lifecycle.

Problem. Company was involved in a high-frequency trading, but one of the system components was under performing per their SLA. There was a deep technical performance issue.
Solution. The system was written in Java and it was submitting one order at a time through the API. IMAGAGE rewrote the interface and submitted the all the orders in one API, which were being submitted in 300 API call (600 roundtrips)
Benefit. A batch of 300 orders was now clearing in ½ a second as opposed to 30 seconds

Problem. USCIS was using a very old technology called pervasive. It was very hard to find matching skilled resources and maintain the system. The requirements were to understand the system and prepare a detailed plan to convert to new technology while the business is up and running.
Solution. It was an overhaling of the system. IMAGAGE created a footprint of current system and procedures, redefined terminology, linked customer with cases and made it customer centric rather than individual case centric, uniquely identify a customer. When the groundwork was completed, then a detailed Pervasive to Oracle conversion plan was prepared. The future system was modeled and architected. Oracle was introduced. Development, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing environments were configured. A detailed Pervasive to Oracle conversion plan was prepared and executed for all 6 USCIS service centers.
Benefit. Numerous benefits and goals were achieved. End users were able to serve customers in a faster and more informed way by viewing all the cases linked to a customer. Service Center performance increased by 100%. They started adjudicating twice the number of cases they were handling before. On the technology side, visa applicants were now able to submit their applications online for a few forms, which significantly reduced the mail traffic and saved organization $5.2 million a year on mail processing and document management.

Solution. IMAGAGE resolved this problem by adding a gateway in between sources called Oracle Transparent Gateway for Sybase to read directly from the source and merge data staying in the same tool.
Benefit. The same task that was taking at least 8 hours, finished in 7 minutes.

Problem. Their technology department was trying to build a smart system that would let global users to build their own search based reports in their field of interest, but they did not have any expertise to design the system.
Solution. IMAGAGE tapped into reference and dynamic data and created a comprehensive data model. The system was named on the concept of BYO (Build Your Own) reports. The system was pulling data from heterogeneous sources on daily basis and updating reference data for users to build and run their desired reports
Benefit. Before building the system, the Inquiries were handled via phone or emails causing a significant delays and very low customer retention. BYO system provided potential clients an instant information regarding who to contact for their interested industry and who to ask questions based on the type of business. The time to sell the product became significantly fast, accurate, and easy to work with.
